Swim practice, swim meets, swim auction, swim board meeting…new pair of goggles, new practice swim suit, brownies and a 2 liter drink for the team…Well, it’s almost over. Grace swam in her last summer meet placing second in breast stroke and third in freestyle. Her relay won first place against Cleveland. The meet started an hour late due to thunder and was cancelled at half time due to an increase of developing storms. The team lost, but overall it was a fun swim meet. Out to eat at Wendy’s afterwards with Madi and Suzanne.

Dakota and Maddie were the first visitors of the day. I picked them up from Gay’s house then arrived for morning practice at 7:30 AM.

Melissa, Austin, Cole, and Kristen came to swim and stayed most of the afternoon. It was a quiet day for the most part.

6 visitors today, 330 in all

Today marks 6 weeks exactly that I have been out of school for summer break. And as the number of visitors increases, I frequently ask myself and others that visit, "does that seem like a lot?" 330 visitors in 6 weeks, that's an average of 55 visitors a week, and almost 8 visitors a day. I guess because this is typical for my house, it doesn't seem too far fetched from the norm. Anyway... I will continue my count of visitors the last remaining weeks of summer break to determine a total number over the course of my summer. I will be signing off soon for a brief time due to personal reasons, but will return recording the number of visitors for the remainder of my summer break.
