Well the visitors must have sensed some of my frustration today because Mandy and Isabell left with Dakota, Maddie, and Cole after several angry outbursts ensued before 9:00 AM, and my house had been turned into a gymnasium full of toys scattered about. Maddie and Dakota discovered that a game of ping pong worked much better in the living room on the hardwood flooring rather than on the table that was designed for the game. All the food was gone, the kids have been here too long, and the pool continues to lose a lot of water on a daily basis. I think it has a leak. And...most of the fireworks displays have been cancelled.

Jo came over staying for a while. It was perfect timing for me as I was able to unload a lot of my frustration on her. It made me feel better anyway.

Melissa and Jeff came over around 9:00 PM and stayed until 11:00. Grace left around 8:30 to spend the night with a friend. She called at 1:00 saying she was home sick. A 40 minute drive to Soddy Daisy at 1:00 AM was the longest drive I have taken in a long time. We returned around 2:15 and were asleep within minutes. I may need a nap today.
