Today was a whirl wind; trying to
get in one more vacation before the end of summer break. Catching up on
laundry, finishing up homework, getting food for the camping trip, and…a trip
to the hospital for an infection that keeps getting worse. The swelling has
managed to engulf my entire arm, and the redness covers the lower part of my
arm from my elbow down to my wrist. All the while I keep saying, that damn cat!
Not necessarily because he bit me, but because his bite has caused the added
time needed to take care of it. I hate for anything to interfere with time I
have allotted to complete a task. I don’t know where I got that trait, but I
wish I could give it back. Spontaneity is okay, when I have nothing else planned.
While at the hospital getting two
antibiotics intravenously, all I could think of was the vacation that was
planned for the following day. I had to get home to get some things done!
4 hours later, I arrived back at home sick as a dog. I threw up several times and laid down for a while to settle my stomach. Still set on leaving tomorrow for vacation, a plan was quickly developed. I made a list of food I would need for our camping trip, David could do the packing and pick up my 2 week supply of antibiotics, and my sister could take care of Grace. Mandy went to the grocery store getting all of the necessary supplies for our trip while David got busy completing his assigned tasks.
In a few short hours, we had everything we needed and will be
leaving tomorrow for another camping trip to Indian Boundary Campground.
Although, much went on, we still had
several visitors during the day. Melissa, Austin, Cole, Jo, and Harlee. Arnold
came over for a while and talked about losing his toe nails.
6 visitors today, 457 in all
