The events of the day were not as
exciting as those that happened yesterday. Jo and Isabell are recovering from
their wounds with little signs of complications. I, on the other hand, am
suffering from a nasty staph infection which has my entire forearm red and
tender. A round of antibiotics and I will be back to my old self. Several
homework assignments are due this week and typing is somewhat painful, but I
will manage to get it done.
With only one week left of my
summer vacations, I am hoping that you have enjoyed reading the events that
have occurred throughout much of my summer, and I am wondering if my mother’s
projection of 500 visitors will come true with only a week left to spare.
Several visitors to add to the
list. One random visitor, as Mandy calls them. Billy came over during the day to
wash out a sheet rock mud bucket. After it was clean, he left. Melissa, Austin,
and Cole visited for the most part of the day. We ordered pizza again from
Little Caesars. Harlee was here for the biggest part of the day along with
Jillian who had spent the night. A nice day to relax and enjoy our new cat. She
is very sweet and we have been calling her Sassy.
Arnold came over this evening and
told us that he will not be getting radiation therapy. He has a collapsed lung
that has pretty much deteriorated. The doctors will continue to give him
chemotherapy.
Jenifer arrived around 4:00 and picked
up Jillian and Grace taking them to the Chattanooga Theater to observe some
kind of tree climbing performance dance…or something like that. Nancy seemed
very excited about it. Grace will be spending the night with Jillian; I hope
for the entire night.
8 visitors today, 451 in all
