Went down to see the Stick Man
for a few minutes on my way to pick up one of Grace’s friends. He said he didn’t
know what happened to the maze, but that as soon as the ground dried out some
he would begin rebuilding it. He also talked about how nice the newly remodeled
Burger King looks, and went on to inform me that the girls bathroom was were
the boys bathroom had once been and vice versa. He showed me some of his
walking canes that he has been making. He sells them for 4 bucks each and
demonstrated their durability by banging one of the canes on the ground. I may
end up buying one.
Melissa visited this morning
coming to the house without her kids. Jeff is at home today taking a day off
due to rain. Gracie came over to play with Grace, and Debbie and Aiden arrived
to pick her up around 6:00. Steve Webb arrived around 7:30 sitting on the back
porch talking about riding his Jet Ski. His daughter just recently turned 19,
moved out, has a job, and is more independent than ever. He said that riding
the Jet Ski by himself isn’t much fun anymore and he misses spending time with
his daughter.
