Grace, Isabell, and I spent a good part
of the afternoon splishing and splashing through water running through the yard
and through creeks having water spilling over their banks. Isabell even found a
Mr. Potato Head laying in the yard and washed him off under a small waterfall that
trickled through the woods. I don’t know how much rain we have had the last few
days, but it has been a lot.
Today…I am especially thankful for my family, but
feel a tremendous sense of loss for the families who lost loved ones in
Colorado. What a tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go out to those families who
are suffering during this time.
Melissa was the only visitor today. She
stayed for a while checking her email, and reading the newspaper.
