13 visitors today. Trish, Shelby, and Kaitlyn; Lucy
and Rylan came to swim, eat hot dogs, and visit. All the kids seemed to enjoy
themselves. Melissa, Austin, Cole, and Ben…all enjoyed swimming.
Steve Webb came by the house to cut the grass around
11:30. I told him that I had friends arriving around 12:00. He said that he
would return Monday, but wanted to make sure that I would tell David I had sent
him home.
I don’t know why Grace feels compelled to have a
friend spend the night every night and I don’t know why I always agree, but…Maddie
Brown, Grace’s niece, along with her brother, Dakota, came over this evening
around 5:00. Christy dropped them off and said that they needed to be home no
later than Tuesday. Don’t know where that came from, but they will go home
Sunday as Grace begins horse camp on Monday.
Maddie is spending the night and Dakota went home to
spend the night with Austin and Cole.
As an elementary school teacher, I feel the need to be
a positive role model for children; except when I use “bad words” occasionally.
Maybe that's why I allow the constant flow of traffic through my house. Who knows. The visitors; some invited and others not, continue to arrive. Lucy asked me
today if I would miss all the chaos and confusion that goes on here, when
everyone is gone. I didn’t know how to answer.
For now though and for the purposes of this blog, a
total of 132 visitors in 14 days
